A great big grateful THANK YOU!
Thank you.
After years of renting equipment, I’ve finally purchased two digital film cameras while doing tons of research on each manufacturer. With the proceeds from my ebooks I’ve been able to also equip each camera with accessories like filters, an external recording device (for footage backup) fast cards, batteries, rigging and lights, and most of all, the lens of my choice.
Though I’ll be splitting my time getting the film company off the ground, I will always be grateful to everyone who helped make this possible. And since it all starts with the written word, my creative spark continues to begin with writing 🙂

If I Were a Boy
His name is Ozzy, and he’s a fictional rapper in my ebook The Player:
Veterinarian and sometime singer Adam Takaura is also introduced in the book. Since I already had Hui’s spot on imitation of Michael Jackson in the ebook HUI, Adam’s passion is for R&B music.
There are a number of Asian singers who can SANGGGG. Check out JiHwan, 지환 He’s South Korean (1/2 of duo called 2BiC). I first saw him on Youtube in these videos: JiHwan covers R&B singer Joe’s “(All The Things) Your Man won’t Do”
JiHwan covers R&B singer Donnie Hathaway’s “A Song for You:
I LOVE his voice.

OPP and PYT
~~~~~
Did the man ever raise his eyes to look directly at anyone during rehearsal? Imani wondered.
As she inwardly grumbled about Hui’s aloofness, he glanced up. Imani’s breath caught in her throat. Make the connection. Come on. She willed herself to smile, hoping against hope that it was actually a grin she’d formed and not something that made her look much too desperate, or God forbid, just plain frightening. Her trembling smile gained an ever widening grin from him. It was glorious and bright and so infectious that Imani’s lips divided invitingly.
As she moved forward her shoulder bumped against the girl next to her.
“Oh, sorry,” Imani stammered.
Funkin’ for Jamaica
An excerpt from Game.Set.Love
will be up this weekend. It’s been posted, so just click the photo to read it:And since the heroine, Sinead Landon hails from Jamaica, I thought I’d add this old skol video with the song by Tom Browne:
A new chapter of The Men of Hilton Hall will be up shortly, and I’m also putting up an excerpt from Make Me Yours, a spin-off from RUSH, featuring a group of Somali Bantu refugees. I hope to
have that up tonight. It’s already up, please click the photo to be redirected to the page.I’ve been busy working my nine to five and also editing a number of books (Gaijin, Razher II, The Player, Queensrealm and Furies). I don’t release a book until I’m satisfied that I’ve done the very best I can, and since I’m up against a deadline with The Player, I’m off to do more editing!
Release updates and it’s time for a tearjerker
I’ve written about werewolves and vampires and robots and angst filled teens and female soldiers, but I really didn’t have a true tearjerker in the lineup. So when I started this story:
I realized this was a serious tearjerker. It’s probably the strongest to date of the tales I’ve penned regarding intra-racism, bullying and a slow building erotic romance.
Yesterday was Digital Art Saturday (I usually do most of my book promos on Saturdays) so for the Caribbean Queens series I’ve created this promo for the Pro-tennis doubles partners who fall for each other:
RUSH comes out the week of April 10th. Here’s another promo:
- Adult Novella, Adult Novellas, Contemporary Romance, E books, Historical fiction, New Adult, Paranormal romance, Women's fiction, YA Paranormal
A big Thank You to readers outside of the U.S.
I’m very grateful to all the readers who purchase my ebooks, and I have noticed readers buying from other countries.
One of my many goals in writing and self publishing concerns having a lead female character from outside of the United States. For 2014, the Caribbean Islands represented in each of the three books below are:
Love and Baseball – Barbados
The Player – Trinidad
Game. Set. Love. – Jamaica
In addition, I have ebooks that didn’t come out last year, but I hope to have out in early 2014 with female lead characters from other parts of the world:
