Two Queens and a Knight
Finishing up more editing on Queensrealm and The Queen of Comedy. It’s the battle of the sexes (Queensrealm) vs. A war of words between comedic relatives (TQOC). I’m debating whether to release OFFWORLD next, but first I have to get familiar with Amazon’s categories and key words for scifi, urban fantasy and scifi romance.

Sleepy Hollow on FOX This new show, along with Ironside (starring Blair Underwood) Crisis (starring Lance Gross) Almost Human (starring Karl Urban and Michael Ealy) and the returning hit show Scandal (Kerry Washington, Columbus Short) will finally have more actors of color in leading or co-starring roles on television.

Game. Set. Love. Doubles partners fall for each other Character backstories are very important to me, so both leads have experienced the ups and downs in their professions. I hope to have an excerpt up soon.

I love science fiction. Octavia Butler and Ray Bradbury are a few of my early writing influences, and so we’ve got a couple of scifi offerings coming up this fall: QUEENSREALM and OFFWORLD
How to categorize these ebooks on Amazon will be a challenge, so don’t be surprised to see them bouncing in several different categories once they’re released. For example, my daughter and I decided to put HEAVEN in both African American women’s fiction and also a sub category of teen fiction, because of the adult content. However, whenever Amazon changes its algorithms (like this week, when the site went down without explanation) after making a comeback up the charts, we’re now working hard to regain the traction we had before Amazon’s site snafu.
