    The Power of Three

This is my take on the dramatic “Power of Three” promos that are popular right now:

The black witches I’ve created in their “Power of Three” pose. It also shows their different styles:

From left to right: Elder witch Lilith, Pagan (middle) and Ondine (right). I’m not using the true title of the series, so I just used “witch” as a generic title.

    Lilith – all dolled up

I create these promos as a way to advertise an ebook prior to its release:

Pictured from left to right: Pagan, Lilith and Ondine. Three beautiful and beguiling black witches.

    Black Girl Magic

So, I’ve been reading about the CHARMED reboot and the controversy. Still, I’m very happy for Madeleine Mantock (she’s been cast as one of three sisters, which is Into the Badlands  loss after they foolishly killed off her character).

Because I’m getting ready to release new ebooks (novellas and full length stories) I created a few GIFs to promote some of my own paranormal witches:

Promo for the sister witch LILITH the elder. Lilith is the strongest of the trio.

Promo for Ondine, the deadliest witch of the trio. Ondine is called “The Red Witch of Sorrows”

Promo for Pagan. She’s the youngest and most impulsive sister witch.

Check out a rock classic written by the founder and frontman of Thin Lizzy, the black Irishman himself, the late, great Phil Lynott (singing lead and playing bass) called The Boys Are Back in Town:

I also needed a smaller GIF for social media in order to promote HUI

    BLACK is the new black

Oh how I love the look of black and white photos. I even love old black and white movies.

Here’s a GIF I created that (hopefully) shows what’s so special and rich about black and white pics:

Here’s the finished ad (minus the dissolve):

Another GIF I created (link is now active):

The male photos are on the book covers I’ve created:

You Give Good Love. Bodyguards to bickering teen stars fall for each other.

    MEN and their GIFs

I’m busy editing and working on promotional GIFS for a number of ebooks, like RAZHER, Rise of the Gargoyles, RUSH, Gaijin and the upcoming serial The Men of Hilton Hall.

More GIFs will be up shortly!

Over at RED, I’m experimenting with a new photo gallery plugin, in order to show more multicultural books from various authors on the site. I think I’ll go with multiple sliding galleries, because that way more books can be highlighted.

More GIFS and excerpts on the way!

So, the site is back up, though I didn’t get to do all my updates. Some of the plugins I use don’t play well with the new version of WordPress. Anyway, I’m hard at work continuing with a final (hopefully final) edit on Razher, Rise of the Gargoyles. I wanted to put up an excerpt this past weekend, but I missed my deadline, so I’ll try for Thursday, December 26th.

To pace myself I’ve been creating more covers and GIFS. A novella I’m excited about is “A Mighty Good Man” with a hero named Denzel “Denny” Mercado. He’s paired with a young lady who doesn’t believe guys like Denny exist.

I found a few more models for my 2014 covers. Here’s just one of them :
