More witchcraft and black magic gifs, featuring paranormals of color:
I enjoy creating character promos in-between writing and editing my ebooks:

Witch Lit 101
Or what I now call how I had to do some serious research on witch folklore, specifically on black witches. I’ll just add that the female witches I’ve created all have history spanning lives, in addition to supernatural soulmates.
I’ve also created new marketing promos for my upcoming black witches series:
Lilith, Pagan and Ondine will also be featured in the ebook Long Ago and Far Away

The Lion, the Witch and her Wardrobe
The lion is Karnage, as the gif below pays respect to the Chinese Lion Gargoyles (shí shī) that were created as silent guardians during the Han dynasty in China. They’re magnificent pieces of art, and I’ve incorporated their history into Pagan and Karnage’s love story.
I’d introduced the Xian gargoyles (Havoc and his dad Pathos) in my 2012 YA ebook titled RAZHER. Karnage is a major player in the sequel to that novel, which has a sneak peek up on Amazon from 2014. But since the story kept getting kinkier and darker, I realized the deleted scenes I’d created were more for an erotic romance featuring older characters.
I’m narrowing Karnage’s final look down, so here are two more finalists:
This version of a gargoyle by Dmitry Parkin is a masterful piece of 3d artwork, and is a fave of mine:
As far as his lady love, the witch Pagan, this gargoyle enjoys seeing her wearing little to nothing:
But when royal duties call, Pagan’s right by his side, dressed to impress:

King Karnage
Chinese Royalty. Playboy. Fine as hell. Wealthy beyond measure. And he’s a Gargoyle. That’s Karnage, aka Dà túshā
I’m working on Ondine’s promos (in-between editing my other books). I’d done this earlier one for Lilith and Yuri:

Monsters and Lovers PT 2
The way I relax while writing and editing (after my nine to five job) is to do promos for my books. Lately I’ve been in a paranormal state of mind, that’s why most of them have been about my trio of witches and their love interests. Here are a few featuring Lilith and her vampire lover Yuri:
- #BlackGirlMagic, Adult Fantasy, E books, IR erotic romance, Novella, Paranormal romance, Urban Fantasy
Monsters and Lovers
Instead of naming my new page on this site “creature feature” I’m going to call it Monsters and Lovers, since it highlights paranormal pairings. Here’s a larger version of the photo widget I created for it:

Wakanda Forever!!
Comic book nerd here, from wayyyyy back (DC’s Metal Men was a favorite) Yes, I read Spiderman, Superman, the X-Men among others. Black Panther/Black Leopard was another fave, so yeah, I’m glad about the movie.
I must also give props to Wesley Snipes as BLADE.
Scifi channel has Blade playing on demand this month, and I still enjoy that groundbreaking movie. The opening scenes where Blade makes his entrance during the vampire rave is visually arresting:
Wesley and the gorgeous N’Bushe Wright were the male and female leads. Wesley was a co-producer and also did most of his own fighting scenes, since he’d studied martial arts.
Now its Black Panther ‘s time to shine. Congrats to director/screenwriter Ryan Coogler and the cast and crew of this wonderful film.

Not much more to add, especially with another school shooting, yet another American tragedy. My prayers go out to all those affected.
Hope to see Black Panther this weekend–saw it. Loved it. Great cinematography, costumes, acting, and the dramatic story line twist (T’Challa finding out his father made a choice that came back to haunt the entire tribe) was utterly heart wrenching– and to finish editing books.
