So Thankful
This is just a post giving thanks and also one of reflection.
I’m so thankful that I got to spend time with my mom before she passed, and also how our family came together. I realize this is the next page in the chapter of life, where elder care and also helping those I love with disabilities will need more focus. I pray that I’m able to do even half of what my mom did.
Some of the spin-offs from the RUSH series are turning out to be novellas, while others have been moved up for ebook release. It all started with Somali Bantu refugee Aaliyah and the outlaw biker Aiden:
But why should guys have all the fun?

Diversity with a Difference
Download December continues!!
More free sneak peeks will be available after X-MAS!
I created a new site promo for social media:
Diversity with a Difference means being inclusive, and for several upcoming releases I concentrated on broadening the diversity of the romantic leads. That’s all I’ll say for now 🙂

Material Girls
Since making the switch from YA/NA to Adult romance (including erotic) I’ve worked on creating female protagonists who are in different phases in their lives. Both Hui and At Last will be out this month (December). The Player is also scheduled for release in late December.
For Imani, the chance to show the world that she is truly a Prima ballerina means making a heartbreaking decision:
Â
For Victoria “Torii” Theas, falling for a paraplegic male ends up blurring the line between being in a romantic relationship and becoming a caregiver, in the May/December, adult erotic contemporary At Last

Excerpts from The Player and RUSH 2
For me, the story and also character development are of utmost importance in my novels. So I’ve been working hard to become not only a better writer, but a better editor. For readers who’ve been wondering when another full length novel will be released, I can tell you that it will be very soon.
The Player
“So,” Harlow said, tracing a gentle fingertip along Kyle’s lower jaw. “How many of your brothers have a dimple right here” ─ she pressed the deep groove that was smack in the middle of his chin ─ “like yours?”
With his eyes closed, Kyle gave her a sleepy chuckle before answering. “I’m the only one.”
Feeling wonderfully sated but still frisky enough to make love again, Harlow molded her body to his. “Ooh . . . so who do look like, your mother or your father?”
“Neither.”
“You’re a combination of both, huh?”
“No. I look like the guy my mother had an affair with while my dad was overseas.” When her finger caress stilled, he opened one eye to gauge her expression.

There will be blood
First an update on Aaliyah’s story from the sequel to RUSH.
I’ve found a stock image for the character of Amelle, though I don’t have my title for the book truly set yet. Right now I’m just calling it RUSH 2:
Aaliyah made a number of decisions in book one that affected her family and their standing in the Somali Bantu community. But more important, she strayed from her religion. Book two explores what the repercussions are and how she and Aiden deal with them. Aiden has questions and concerns regarding how close Aaliyah and Turk became while he was away, as Turk’s presence is still felt even though he’s nowhere to be found. That’s all I’ll reveal for now, but the Suicide Kings re-form with a surprising new leader.
 Also nearing a release date:

Movers and Shakers
There are a number of sequels to RUSH which follow several characters and introduce new ones. First up will be Daniel Semboga’s love story:
Then there’s Rory and Roxie’s love story. Roxie’s an exotic dancer who assists Rory (from RUSH) after he finds out his late dad owned Wallbanger’s, the strip club that plays a central part in the mystery of Turk’s disappearance and several other murders:
Gauge and Keisha’s story concerns a threat to her life. She needs protection based on what and who she knows. He makes her laugh. Who knew loving a biker could be this fun? Or so dangerous?:
There’s also a love interest for Boner and two more characters, plus the continuation of the main couple, Aiden and Aaliyah’s tale.Â
I’m re-editing Razher: Rise of the Gargoyles and Gaijin’s ending
