Older, wiser and even more determined to win the Witch who got away:
Big man, big love.
Promos below are from the mini graphic novels that will promote the ebooks for these love stories:
In addition to writing and editing, I enjoy creating visuals.
So I’m starting a new feature on this site, titled “Character Pages” which will feature some of the graphic novel art for my paranormal couples. Links and content to some of the Character Pages should be up soon. In the meantime:
The Stone Sentry, Karnage Xian has fallen hard for a witch named Pagan.
This talented artist’s full name is Chumak Vladislav and more of his work can be found here: https://www.cgtrader.com/vld-chk
The Wheel of Time is also The Wheel of Fine imho, due to the diversity of the main characters and attractiveness of its cast:
“I think all the characters in soul and personality are very true to the books. That’s the thing that Rafe has accomplished” – Brandon Sanderson
Season One is on Amazon Prime now.
Three Women. Three Witches with three different tales on life as a supernatural.
Their stories are coming soon.
Lilith is from West Africa. I didn’t create the animated flying birds. Attribution for that GIF is Mr.EvilBoy (name is also in the bottom left corner of this combined GIF). Lilith’s face in this promo is inspired by the beautiful Ethiopian model Senait Gidey.
YES, I have new books coming out.
Thank you readers, for your patience.

What an NBA finals game five last night! The Phoenix Suns vs The Milwaukee Bucks
Fear the Deer indeed. In the final seconds, that steal, the lob, the alley oop. Giannis posing for the camera after the basket:
My erotic paranormal cast:
Yuri is Lilith’s love interest. The crown prince Machiavelli Faust was introduced in a much, much earlier book called RAZHER, but that book is in the young adult genre:
After I released RAZHER on Amazon and prior to my mom’s cancer, I’d started writing an erotic interracial paranormal featuring witches, vampires and gargoyles.
The inspiration for Karnage’s promo came from one of my favorite shows, LUPIN, starring Omar Sy on Netflix:
I’ve been busy writing and editing, so the blog has been silent.
More graphic novel promos from my black witches series are in this post.
I happened to see a fantastic sports graphic design of Gonzaga’s Jalen Suggs by Hoops, and I loved the composition and colors so much I tried to re-create it for my fictional basketball player:
Congrats to Baylor (mens basketball) and Stanford (womens) for their NCAA title wins this year.
Shoutout to the original artist named syaifulptak57 from Indonesia. Illustrators and Photographers post royalty free creations on Pixabay. They don’t require attribution, but its only right to give credit where credit is due. Here’s the original artwork from syaifulptak57 that I edited in order to create the above GIF for Lilith:
If anyone knows the original author of this GIF please let me know:
Found it on Pinterest and Twitter but without an attribution.
Lilith makes an entrance:
Lilith is from West Africa. Ondine is from the US. Pagan is from England.
The name of this erotic paranormal series won’t be revealed yet:
First thing – The Boys are back! This is a scifi anti-Superhero show on Amazon Prime Video featuring three of my favorite actors, Karl Urban, Laz Alonzo and Giancarlo Giuseppe Alessandro Esposito
Here’s the original:
The Boys are based on a popular graphic novel of the same name.
Since I create ebook promos, I decided to give my trio of witches Lilith, Ondine and Pagan the graphic novel treatment. Here’s a sneak peek at Pagan’s comix:
My Sex and the Single Paraplegic Series continues with Emmanuel and Christian’s virtual love affair.
She’s a baddddd girl. And he’s more than willing to be her bad boy.
Ancient China and multicultural Chinese citizens:
“China’s Qing Dynasty, established by the Manchu people who ruled from 1644–1912, is described as having been a vast multicultural empire. But it appears multicultural might also be a euphemism for multiracial. Nothing illustrates this better than the black and white photos taken by visitors from Europe in the mid-to-late 1800s. John Thomson, an Irish photographer, was one of the first to capture images that reveal a surprisingly more diverse makeup of then-contemporary China.”
After doing more research, I narrowed down the point in time I wanted to focus on. So while Pagan’s novel is paranormal fantasy, I’ve included real landmarks and ethnic groups in order to put a black woman in China during this period. Wuxia tales overwhelmingly feature characters of Chinese ancestry, however I enjoy the genre so much that I wanted to feature an inter-racial romance. There are supernatural elements in my story, which usually aren’t part of WUXIA but Xianxia (仙侠).
Still, I’m dubbing this “Black Wuxia.”
Simply put, Wuxia (武侠) is a genre of Chinese writing featuring the lives and adventures of martial artists. The stories are always set in ancient China, typically between the Tang and middle Ching dynasties (approximately AD 618 to AD 1800). The main attraction of the Wuxia novels is the myriad of powerful martial arts, or kung fu, wielded by the story characters.
Tonight’s the night! Game five of the WNBA finals
Jonquel Jones for the Connecticut Sun . . . Elena Delle Donne for the Washington Mystics.
The teams are tied 2-2. I like both teams, so I’ll be rooting for each.
Park Hyo-shin can SANGGGG.
Love me some Luther Vandross! Luther’s version of Superstar is classic, and imho Park Hyo-shin does Luther proud.
Here’s audio of Luther (courtesy of Stankfunkmusic74) singing Superstar live and riffing:
Coming soon, Warlock Ronin Bey:

I didn’t forget about Vamps:
Rhea Chappelle realizes resistance is futile once big man Yohan Sukari turns on the charm, in the New Adult erotic romance One on One:
Adults at play:
It’s a new year and I’ve got new books to release.
One will include the origin of Werewolf Andre Santana, a member of the NightStalkers:
Color me happy that the 2018 Grammy Awards nominated “Boo’d Up” in the categories of Song of the year and R&B song of the year. Honestly, Ella Mai should’ve been nominated in the best new artist category. The voters also recognized the talent of H.E.R. for album of the year, best new artist, best R&B album, song and performance. Another fave of mine, Maren Morris, is up for Record of the Year for “The Middle.”
Kendrick Lamar and Sza have also been nominated in the same category for “All the Stars” (from the movie Black Panther) along with Donald Glover’s “This is America.” It will be exciting to see which tune the voters choose.
This is my take on the dramatic “Power of Three” promos that are popular right now:
The black witches I’ve created in their “Power of Three” pose. It also shows their different styles:
I create these promos as a way to advertise an ebook prior to its release:

Yay! Penny Dreadful is kinda sorta coming back!
Creator/executive producer John Logan has announced Penny Dreadful: City of Angels will be set in 1930s Los Angeles. Here’s hoping several actors from the original series will return, like fine as hell Josh Hartnett as wolfman Ethan Chandler:
Per John Logan: “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels will have a social consciousness and historical awareness that we chose not to explore in the Penny Dreadful London storylines,” Logan said. “We will now be grappling with specific historical and real world political, religious, social and racial issues. In 1938, Los Angeles was facing some hard questions about its future and its soul. Our characters must do the same. There are no easy answers. There are only powerful questions and arresting moral challenges. As always in the world of Penny Dreadful, there are no heroes or villains in this world, only protagonists and antagonists; complicated and conflicted characters living on the fulcrum of moral choice.”
Eva Green was magnificent as the tortured Vanessa Ives in the original series, which ran from 2014 to 2016 on Showtime.
Here’s hoping Sembene, played by Danny Sapani gets a second life. I also enjoyed Timothy Dalton as Sir Malcolm Murrary, Rory Kinnear as Frankinstein/John Clare, Reeve Carney as Dorian Gray, Billie Piper as Lily/Brona, but especially Russell Simon Beale as Ferdinand Lyle.
My own supernaturals:
More witchcraft and black magic gifs, featuring paranormals of color:
I enjoy creating character promos in-between writing and editing my ebooks:
Or what I now call how I had to do some serious research on witch folklore, specifically on black witches. I’ll just add that the female witches I’ve created all have history spanning lives, in addition to supernatural soulmates.
I’ve also created new marketing promos for my upcoming black witches series:
Lilith, Pagan and Ondine will also be featured in the ebook Long Ago and Far Away
The lion is Karnage, as the gif below pays respect to the Chinese Lion Gargoyles (shí shī) that were created as silent guardians during the Han dynasty in China. They’re magnificent pieces of art, and I’ve incorporated their history into Pagan and Karnage’s love story.
I’d introduced the Xian gargoyles (Havoc and his dad Pathos) in my 2012 YA ebook titled RAZHER. Karnage is a major player in the sequel to that novel, which has a sneak peek up on Amazon from 2014. But since the story kept getting kinkier and darker, I realized the deleted scenes I’d created were more for an erotic romance featuring older characters.
I’m narrowing Karnage’s final look down, so here are two more finalists:
This version of a gargoyle by Dmitry Parkin is a masterful piece of 3d artwork, and is a fave of mine:
As far as his lady love, the witch Pagan, this gargoyle enjoys seeing her wearing little to nothing:
But when royal duties call, Pagan’s right by his side, dressed to impress:
